Lee
English is a native Floridian who lives with her husband David
on a farm in Lecanto where they board horses, raise Welsh
Corgi dogs and she does commissioned animal portraits.
Lee started judging horse shows in 1968 and has held approved
judges card for the National Appaloosa Horse Club, American
Horse Show Association, Paso Fine Breeders Club, Palomino
Breeders of America and the Pony of America Club. She has
retired all of her cards to devote more time to her art work
and now only judges open shows, but remains on the University
of Floridas state 4-H approved judges list.

Lee
is proud of the fact that her artwork is owned by many people
in the United States as well as Canada and South America.
Her art work has appeared in or on the cover of the Quarter
Horse Journal, Eastern Western Quarter Horse Journal, National
Snaffle Bit Magazine, Paint Horse Journal and the Southern
Horse Connection.
Lee
says I dont know if being an artist helps me
be a better judge or being a judge helps me be a better artist.
Using
her own Corgis, as well as those of her friends, gives her
an endless supply of ideas for her artwork. Be sure
to watch for new prints in the near future.
Because
of many requests Lee has added Jack Russell Terrier prints
here along with her most popular horse prints.
